I have been publishing the Free Learning Monitor for a few months now, but unfortunately life demands got the better of me last month and I did not get an issue out. Apologies to the fast-growing list of subscribers for that omission. A new edition will come out this Thursday, however, and it will be a bit more packed than usual to make up for August.

If you have not yet subscribed to the Monitor, I highly recommend it. Each month I sift through hundreds of potential learning destinations (and a lot of junk!) on the Web and offer up an eclectic collection of a couple dozen or so links that may be of interest. Not all of them will be your cup of tea, but you may just find a gem or two in the list. Think of it as going to a monthly learning flea market.

Just use the simple form below to sign up (and if you are concerned about submitting your e-mail, please see the Mission to Learn privacy policy - I take it seriously):

Those who visit the Mission to Learn Web site (as opposed to viewing content through a feed reader) will notice that the look and feel has been changed quite a lot. I have moved the blog over to WordPress to take advantage of the greater degree of control that offers over using a Typepad subscription account. Additionally, I’m going to spend the next couple of weeks reflecting on my goals for the blog and thinking about how best to move forward in 2008. So, there will be little, if any, new content here over the next couple of weeks, but by early February, I’ll be continuing the mission to learn.
